The President of the Council for the Advancement and Oversight of the Audit of the Republic of Macedonia and the Coordinator of the Professional Working service of the Council on May 4th 2018 held a working meeting with representatives of the big four Audit firms from the Republic of Macedonia. The meeting was attended by: Ljube Georgeski from PWC DOO Skopje, Lidija Nanush from Deloitte Doo Skopje and Gordana Nikusheva and Srdjan Rangelovic from KPMG Macedonia, Doo Skopje.
The purpose of the working meeting was to get acquainted with the representatives of the large audit companies, to detect the problems they face in their work, and to hear their opinions, propositions and suggestions for improvement and development of the audit profession. Therefore, an agreement was reached in the future that there should be two-way information and initiation of proposals that are essential for improving the work of the legal entities that perform the audit work in the Republic of Macedonia as well as the activities that should be taken into consideration when supervising their work.
