The President of the Council – Premtim Iseni, the coordinator of the working service – Dafina Taleva Hadzi Vaskova and the associate – Svetlana Gjorgjievska on April 18th 2019 realized their third meeting in the audit company Effect Plus DOOEL Skopje.
Certified auditors Kristina Tilic and Nikolai Miov, who is a member of the Council for the Advancement and Oversight of the Audit of the Republic of North Macedonia, stressed the need for grading disciplinary measures, bearing in mind the severity, consequences, intent, and above all the amount of the damage caused by the disrespect of the recommendations given by the controllers. It was pointed out that the Audit Law does not respect the principle of two-stage procedure, which should indicate the proposer of the Law to be inserted in the new Audit Law. Also, the company representatives stressed the need to develop a tool for minimum commitments for audit engagements, with a preliminary analysis of the established tools by some Institute in the region, which in its application was confirmed with its effectiveness.
