The President of the Council, Aleksandar Naumoski, at the premises of the Council held a workshop with the employees of the professional service, in regards to the working meeting held with representatives from the World Bank – CFRR Vienna.
Several topics were discussed at the workshop, in relation to the competences of the Council. Quality control in general, with an emphasis on quality control of trading companies in which the state has a share or public companies that would be defined as public interest entities (PIEs). Jurisdiction that is transferred from the Institute of certified auditors of the Republic of North Macedonia to the Council for advancement and oversight of the audit of the Republic of North Macedonia with the new Draft Audit Law. A term that needs to be defined in the Trading Law, according to the new Draft Audit Law. Licensing of certified auditors and creation of the Register of auditors. Promotion of the audit profession in cooperation with the Institute.
