On 22.04.2024, in the premises of the Council, the fifth session of the Council was held. The session was attended by the President of the Institute, Nenad Tortevski, and the the General Secretary of the Institute, Tatjana Todorovska.
At the session, a Decision on giving consent to the “Annual report on the operation of the Council for the advancement and oversight of the audit of the Republic of North Macedonia” for 2023 and a Decision on giving consent to the “Annual report on the operation of the Institute of certified auditors of the Republic of North Macedonia” for 2023.
The presence of the representatives of the Institute represents a new form of direct cooperation between the members of the Council and the members of the Management board of the Institute. The goal is, through direct communication, to act jointly in the direction of coordinating the strategic documents, promoting, encouraging and adhering to the high professional standards in the audit profession. In the direction of increasing trust and the transparency in the data and information expressed in the annual reports of the two institutions and thereby minimize potential risks, thus influencing the improvement of the overall business climate in the Republic of North Macedonia.
At the same time, an initial analysis of the received data was carried out for the preparation of the Annual Transparency Report for 2023, and the Quarterly Financial Report of the Council’s operations for the period January – March 2024 was adopted.
