In the period from October 3 to 4, 2023, the President of the Council for the advancement and oversight of the audit of the Republic of North Macedonia, Aleksandar Naumoski, and the employees of the Council’s professional service, Vlado Mitev, Marija Kuzmanov, and Maja Panajotova attended a knowledge sharing event on Good Practices in Oversight and Audit Implementation: An Example from the Polish Audit Supervision Agency, in Warsaw, Poland.
The aim of this knowledge-sharing event is to learn from Poland’s experience regarding the implementation of public oversight and quality assurance systems, in accordance with EU provisions. The participants had the opportunity to hear the key provisions of Directive 2013/34/EC3 as well as their experiences and application of the same in transposition into Polish legislation.
The event was organized in cooperation with the Polish audit oversight agency. The participants of the event had the opportunity to introduce themselves and present the functioning of their institutions.
