On 21.10.2015 the Council for advancement and oversight of the audit of the Republic of Macedonia was visited by a senior representative of the European Commission Mr. Colm Donne. The meeting was attended by the President of the Council, Sonja Gjelova-Stojanova, representatives of the employees of Council, Dr. Atanasko Atanasovski as a consultant at the Center for Financial Report Reform of the World Bank in Vienna. It was discussed about REPARIS – a regional program which was conducted by the Center for Financial Report Reform of the World Bank in Vienna. Mr. Colm Donne specifically stated that during 2016 the twinning programs for professional development of the employees in the Council and strengthening of international cooperation with other regulators of the audit of the Member States of the European Union will be available by the European Commission for the Council.
