In the period from 02.11.2015 to 04.11.2015, the President of the Council for advancement and oversight of the audit of the Republic of Macedonia with a representative of the employees of the Council visited the Commission for Public oversight of the statutory auditors of the Republic of Bulgaria. The purpose of the visit was to establish and strengthen the cooperation between the two regulatory bodies. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by Mrs. Sonja Gjelova-Stojanova, the President of the Council for advancement and oversight of the audit of the Republic of Macedonia and Mrs. Vanja Doneva, the President of the Commission for Public Oversight of the statutory auditors of the Republic of Bulgaria.
It is expected that through the exchange of information and data to significantly contribute to the further development of the audit and greater transparency of the entities both on the domestic and the foreign markets of audit and greater efficiency of the audit function.
