On March 30th 2016 in Tallinn, Estonia, the Council developed its international cooperation by signing a Memorandum of Understanding with Estonian Auditors’ Association.
The Memorandum regulates cooperation and exchange of information and data in the field of oversight and quality control of audit.
This Memorandum allows further successful cooperation, exchange of information and experiences and strengthening of the Councils capacities, as well as strengthening of the oversight system of the audit between both regulatory institutions.
The Memorandum was signed by the President of the Council Mrs. Sonja Gjelova Stojanova and the President of the Estonian Auditors’ Association Mr. Mert Martin Arengu, and the ceremony was attended by Mr. Saso Vejanovski, the Ambassador of the Republic of Macedonia in Estonia and Mr. Daniel Shaer, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia in Macedonia. At the event it was emphasized the preparedness for cooperation between the two regulatory bodies by participation in joint EU funds projects in the direction of development of the electronic system in the field of audit, which will contribute to audit advancement in the Republic of Macedonia.
