The President of the Council – Premtim Iseni, the coordinator of the working service – Dafina Taleva Hadzi Vaskova and the associate – Svetlana Gjorgjievska on April 23rd 2019 visited the auditing company Baker Tilly Joanidis DOOEL Skopje, which closed the visits of the audit companies, which are part of international networks.
Certified auditor Ljubica Joanidis briefly introduced the representatives of the Council on the beginnings and development of Baker Tilly Joanidis DOOEL Skopje. At the meeting were opened questions about the problems that the audit profession is facing. Regarding the events for continuous professional development, suggestions were made for involving foreign experts in the field of audit and organizing workshops with practical examples. Also, for certain examinations for acquiring the title, an auditor suggested organizing lectures so that the subject could be easily overcome. The need to deepen the cooperation with the Central Registry of the Republic of North Macedonia was emphasized, as well as greater communication between the certified auditors with each other, with a special accent on the obligation to communicate with the auditee in charge of the previous certified auditor in accordance with the international standards.
