Establishment of the Council

Council for advancement and oversight of the audit was established by the Government of the R. Macedonia at the proposal of the Minister of Finance as a autonomous and independent regulatory body.

Competences

The Council  has public powers and competences precisely established and defined in the Audit Law and it constantly works in the direction of its advancement.

Goals of the Council

The goal of the Council is to encourage adherence to high audit standards through expert analysis, recommendations, consultations and independent public oversight of audit.
